Originally designed as a regional airliner and proven over many years in service, our BAe 146 / Avro RJ portfolio offers a unique blend of performance and economics unmatched by any aircraft in the 70-110 seat sector today. Take a look at our virtual tour to walk through an aircraft recently refurbished and delivered to one of our customers. Appreciate the modern flight deck, spacious cabin and large overhead bins.
And in addition to our 146 and RJ aircraft we also offer several other aircraft types suited to commercial passenger operations so please check our availability to see what we can offer you.
With key aircraft features such as the spacious uninterrupted cabin, field accessibility and independence from ground support equipment rendering the aircraft particularly suited to this market, more than 20 BAe 146 / Avro RJ aircraft are already in operation as VIP and corporate shuttle aircraft.
Our presentation demonstrates several potential cabin concepts we have developed with design partners to showcase the potential our cabins can offer in this highly personal market.
The BAe 146 / Avro RJ’s flight handling characteristics render it particularly suited to aerial delivery missions such as aerial fire-fighting. The ability to fly safely at low altitudes over challenging terrains and execute low speed turns are amply demonstrated in our video. As a Class 1 tanker delivering more than 3,000 USG of retardant per flight, the aircraft has a key future role in fighting fires globally.
The military air transport sector is under increasing strain with pressure on defence budgets and planned utilisations being exceeded, stretching often ageing assets. The BAe 146 / Avro RJ can offer relief in this sector delivering logistics support capability for a fraction of the price of new aircraft offering similar capability. And the BAe 146 / Avro RJ are available now. Quite simply, “the right kit, at the right price, right now!”
The BAe 146 / Avro RJ have enjoyed 15 years of proven operation in the FIFO (Fly-in Fly-out) sector, supporting mining and exploration companies often in remote locations. The aircraft performance is ideally suited to this demanding mission, offering full independence from ground support equipment, proven unpaved and short field operations and remote operation ability backed by 3-engine ferry capability.
Our portfolio features examples of BAe 146QT and ATPF offering potential for containerised or bulk load freight capacity at 10-12 or 8 tonnes. We can also offer a Jetstream 41 freighter conversion modification to convert the passenger aircraft to offer a cost-efficient 3 tonne solution particularly suited to feed small air cargo hubs.
Our presentation showcases examples of each of these aircraft in operation or conversion, demonstrating our depth of knowledge and expertise across the regional air cargo sector.
Falko’s managed portfolio of aircraft includes a significant number of spare (and installed) ALF502 and LF507 engines which are available now for lease and / or sale at competitive rates. The majority are EMCPP (Engine Maintenance Cost Protection Programme) enrolled and available for service immediately. And beyond engines we can offer landing gears and some other major components on request.
