Falko Donates Laptops to Local Schools and Community Group, Supporting Digital Access and Sustainability

Demonstrating Falko’s ongoing commitment to its community and environmental responsibility, Falko has donated a number of refurbished laptops to primary schools and a community group based in Hatfield and the surrounding areas.
The recipients include Howe Dell Primary School and Oak View Primary School in Hatfield, and Community Action Dacorum in Hemel Hempstead. The contribution forms part of Falko’s broader sustainability and social impact initiatives, which focus on finding meaningful ways to support and add value to communities local to Falko’s offices in Hatfield, Dublin and Singapore.

With the support of its IT vendor, ITRM, Falko is pleased to provide the devices to local organisations to help meet the digital needs of both young pupils and adults. For the local primary schools, the initiative will enhance digital learning, helping pupils develop their skills in coding, music and image editing, and the use of AI. The laptops donated to Community Action Dacorum will support its Staying Connected project, which provides digital access to more than 700 individuals who would otherwise be digitally excluded.
By repurposing the laptops, Falko is not only supporting the circular economy and reducing electronic waste but also investing in the digital empowerment of its local community, reflecting Falko’s commitment to environmental sustainability and supporting our local community.
