Falko Outlines Q1 2026 Portfolio Activity
London, 21 April 2026
Falko, a leading aircraft lessor and asset manager focused on the 70-130 seat commercial aircraft market, has provided a summary of its Q1 2026 portfolio activity.
During the quarter, Falko was involved in transactions relating to twenty-eight aircraft with lease extensions covering 9 aircraft accounting for the largest share of the portfolio activity. In addition, a Letter of Intent (LOI) was signed for the lease of two Embraer E190s.
On the trading side, during the first quarter Falko sold one Embraer E170, one DHC-Q400 and one ATR72-600 aircraft and signed LOIs for the sale of six further ATR turboprop aircraft. With respect to portfolio growth, purchase agreements were signed relating to the acquisition of 8 turboprop aircraft on lease to four customers.
As of 31 March 2026, Falko’s managed fleet totalled 190 aircraft leased to 37 customers located worldwide.
Commenting on the quarter’s activity, Mark Hughes, Falko’s Chief Commercial Officer stated, “We are pleased to report strong levels of activity at the start of 2026 with continued demand from airlines for all types of small commercial aircraft reflected by the lease and sale activity with airlines seen during the first quarter. Despite uncertainty in the global macroeconomic environment, we’ve seen a continuation of the positive demand environment witnessed last year as a consequence of the ongoing shortage of aircraft across the sector.”
