Falko Outlines Q2 2022 Portfolio Activity
London, 8 August 2022. Falko Regional Aircraft Limited (Falko), the world’s largest asset manager and aircraft lessor focused solely on the regional aircraft sector has provided a summary of its Q2 2022 market activity.
In Q2 2022, Falko added 23 aircraft to its portfolio during the quarter. Eight aircraft were sold and 4 aircraft were delivered on lease to customers in Europe.
Activity was focused on the turboprop sector and the ATR product in particular, with 3 ATR 72s being delivered to Loganair and Emerald Airlines. An Embraer E195 was also delivered to SAS Link.
As at 30 June 2022 and following the transaction with Chorus, Falko’s portfolio totaled 266 aircraft on lease to 42 customers worldwide.
Commenting on the quarter’s activity, Mark Hughes Falko’s Chief Commercial Officer stated:
“We are delighted to be able to announce transactions relating to 36 aircraft in our portfolio during the quarter and we see recurring demand for all regional aircraft types. This quarter saw a substantial transaction volume involving ATR products where Falko now manages 75 ATR42/72 aircraft making us one of the leaders in this space.
We continue to see confidence from customers worldwide and across all product types which makes us positive about demand in the second half of 2022.”
